What is BC After Hours?
You're under a lot of stress these days. About 2 out of 3 teens feel pressure to get good grades. 1 out of 3 teens feel pressure to look good and fit in. And on top of it all, you're busy. On average, a U.S. teen is going to have over 10 hours invested in after-school activities.
That's a lot!
BC After Hours is here to ease the tension. It's a faith-based, after-school program hosted at Messiah where you don't have to perform; you can just be. It's a time when you can have fun with friends. Unwind and relax. Play.
You'll also be invited to discover more about who you are becoming. This semester we're having conversations about the gift of choice, strong character, self-worth, the intentionality of growth, and how courage is a cornerstone of life.
Deeper Walk is a one-year confirmation course for 6th–8th grade students and their parents. Together, you’ll grow in your relationship with God while learning the core teachings of the Christian faith.
Each week, students will explore Scripture, prayer, Christian beliefs, and practical ways to build a lifelong faith. It’s a place to ask honest questions, grow deeper, and discover what it means to follow Jesus.
The course includes 7 weeks in the fall and 7 weeks in the winter.
