About Camp Messiah

Looking for mountains of fun this summer? Join us at Camp Messiah where we'll discover how to trust Jesus in a wild world!

Camp is June 16-June 20 from 9am-12pm. Camp will be filled with wild and fun experiences ranging from hands-on science experiments, wacky games, incredible music, and super-fun snacks.

At Camp we’ll also help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life—something we call God Sightings.

Thing to Know

Camp will be for two age groups

Juneau's Puppy Playhouse is designed specifically for kiddos aged 3-5 years old
Camp Messiah is for all our elementary kiddos for kids going into K-5th grade
Everything at camp is hands-on so kids might get a little messy. Be sure to send them in their *new* Camp Messiah T-Shirt and sturdy shoes! Kids should wear their camp shirt each day.
Your kids will also participate in a hands-on mission project thru Operation Kid to Kid. World Vision estimates that 1 out 6 kids in North America live in poverty, which means access to warm coats and clothes can be tough when the temperatures dip!

Just $5 can bless a child with $70 worth of warm blankets, coats, and scarves! You can send in donations during the week with your child.

How Can You Help?
It's a privilege to help at Camp. Here are a few roles you might be able to play at camp to make it a special experience for campers.

Camp Counselors

9th grade and older

Camp Messiah would be nothing without our camp counselors! Here's what it looks like to be a counselor at camp this year:

You'll lead a mixed-age crew of 5-6 kids (and possibly co-lead with a junior counselor!)
You will lead this same crew every day in a group of other crews and rotate around to all the super-fun activities throughout the morning.
This means lots of special time connecting with kids and lots of chances to share God's love in a real, tangible way.

Junior Counselors

6th-8th graders

Are you going to be in middle school (6th-8th grade) this fall?? YOU can volunteer as a Junior Counselor *wohoo* This means you'll be paired with an older Camp Counselor as you serve your crew of campers!

Camp Team Member

Our camp will take campers on a wild adventure each day as campers rotate through stations which each build on that day's Bible point about how kids can trust Jesus. A camp team member will be assigned to help at one of our stations, the kitchen, or help get the church ready for camp.
