Set against the stunning backdrop of autumn on the shores of Lake Michigan, this year’s retreat offers a unique space to unplug and connect. There is something powerful about gathering as men in the quiet beauty of creation—it opens the door for authentic conversations, shared laughter, and genuine camaraderie.
The study for this year's retreat will help bring profound context to biblical events that we, as modern English speakers, might just rush past. Rev. Dr. Chad Yeshayahu Foster is both an ordained LCMS pastor and an ordained rabbi. His deep knowledge of biblical Hebrew and his own Jewish-Christian roots will work together to help us slow down and reveal the surprising connections between biblical words, places, and even numbers and show how those tiny details make a big impact. Looking at Scripture from this distinct vantage point will help open our eyes to new connections across the Bible and deepen our love for God's Word.
